A gift voucher is one of the presents our guests choose most often and it is easy to see why. There is no size to guess, no colour to get wrong, it takes up no space in the wardrobe and does not end up in a drawer after a week. Instead of another object you give someone a few quiet days below the Tatras: a morning without an alarm clock, breakfast without hurry and an evening in the spa, which at that hour is used only by guests of the house. Buyers often tell us it is a present people talk about long after they get home, because a trip is remembered and wrapping paper is not.
There are two ways to go about it. An open value voucher of 500, 1000 or 2000 zloty leaves the decision to the person receiving it: they pick the dates, the apartment and the length of the stay, and pay the difference on the spot if the booking costs more. It works well when you do not want to decide for someone, when several people are giving the present together, or when the people receiving it like to plan on their own terms. Open value vouchers are also the usual choice for company gifts and thank you presents, because the amount can be matched to the occasion.
The other way is a set of ready stay packages for two. Romantic Spa Stay for 1250 zloty covers two nights in a luxury apartment, breakfasts and dinners, a bottle of wine waiting in the room and a board of regional cheeses for the evening. Mountain Relaxation for 1400 zloty adds two fifty minute relaxing massages and a trail map put together by the hosts. Romantic VIP Relaxation for 1400 zloty is the most celebratory version, for an anniversary or a proposal. Every package includes unlimited access to the indoor spa from 16:00 to 21:00, where a pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna zone, a brine graduation tower and an outdoor hot tub are waiting.
Package vouchers are honoured from March to June and from September to mid December, excluding holidays and long weekends. The open value voucher has no such limit, so it also works as a present for the winter break or the summer holidays. Every voucher is valid for twelve months from the date of issue, and if the dates prove hard to find, the validity can be extended by another year for a fee of two hundred zloty paid before it runs out.
Buying takes a few minutes. You press the button next to the voucher you want, pay online, and the document arrives at the e-mail address you give, ready to print. If the present is to be handed over in person, we prepare a printed version sent by post, for an extra fifty zloty. It is then worth ordering a few days ahead. On request we add the name of the person receiving it and a dedication, all you need to do is give us the wording in the order form or over the phone.
Vouchers are bought most often for wedding anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas and Mother's Day, but they work just as well with no occasion at all, when someone close simply deserves a few days of breathing space. Willa Tatrzańska stands in Murzasichle, ten minutes from Zakopane and a few minutes from the entrances to the Tatra trails. Six apartments rather than thirty means there is no hotel traffic in the corridor and the hosts have time to help plan the stay.
