These terms set out the rules for booking a stay. The rules that apply on site are set out in the house rules.

How to book a stay

A booking is treated as accepted once the property confirms it and the deposit is paid. We send the confirmation by e-mail together with a summary of the dates, the apartment, the number of guests and the price of the stay.

Making a booking means accepting these terms and the house rules.

  • By phone at 663 129 683
  • By e-mail at willatatrzanska@gmail.com
  • Through the booking system available on this site

Deposit and payment

A booking requires a deposit of 30 percent of the value of the stay. The payment deadline is given in the booking confirmation.

The remaining part of the price is settled on the day of check in.

We accept payments by bank transfer to the account given in the booking confirmation, and online payments where the booking is made through the booking system.

If the deposit is not paid by the given deadline, the booking is cancelled.

Changing and cancelling a booking

The deposit is not refunded if the stay is cancelled. This follows from the nature of a deposit as described in Article 394 of the Polish Civil Code.

We try to accommodate a change of dates subject to availability. Please call or write as early as you can.

Cutting short a stay that has already begun does not entitle you to a refund for the unused nights.

Right of withdrawal

Under Article 38(1)(12) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to accommodation services where the contract specifies the day or period of performance.

This means that a booking for specific dates is not subject to the fourteen day withdrawal. Cancellation rules are set out in the point above.

Complaints

Please raise any remarks about the stay on site, as soon as you notice them. Most matters can then be settled straight away.

A complaint can also be made by e-mail at willatatrzanska@gmail.com or in writing to the address of the property. Please give the dates of the stay, the booking number and a description of the matter.

We consider complaints within 14 days of receipt and reply by the same channel they came in.

Personal data

Data given at booking is processed in order to deliver the booking and to meet tax obligations. The rules of processing, retention periods and your rights are set out in the privacy policy.

Final provisions

Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the Polish Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.

A consumer may use out of court means of handling complaints and pursuing claims, including the help of the district consumer ombudsman and the ODR online dispute resolution platform run by the European Commission.
